Hawa Johnson, is a native of Philadelphia, who is married to her best friend and loving husband, Sharohn. They have one daughter and one son, who is a Senior Airman in the United States Airforce. Hawa holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing from Villanova University, a Master Certification in Pediatric Nurse Case Management, specializing in traumatic family/pediatric rehabilitation, has been a pediatric registered nurse (RN) for over 20 years, and co-owns Legacy Health and MORE…on-line health and wellness store with her husband. Additionally, Hawa serves as an Advisor to Renovated Lives, women’s empowerment organization, serves on the Planning Team of Return to Honor Black Excellence Gala, and serves as the Founding Partner of Living Empowered. Hawa is an on-fire intercessor and prayer warrior, who loves the Lord and desires to experience His FULLNESS in every aspect of her life. One of her greatest joys is empowering others to JUST BE FREE in God…standing on the TRUTH that who the Son sets free is FREE INDEED (John 8:36) !!! Hawa has completed courses at the Abundant Harvest Bible Institute, has received a certificate in Inner Healing and Deliverance through Destiny Training Academy, receives continual spiritual mentorship from her tribe of spiritual advisors, receives continual health, wellness, business/financial mentorship, and continually pursues effective training in her spiritual, health, wellness, and financial education and activation. She is a life long student of the things of God to BE FREE in ALL areas of her life and to HELP OTHERS be set free in all areas of their lives!. Hawa and her family currently reside in Williamstown, New Jersey.
In 2013, Hawa founded Living Empowered in Sicklerville, New Jersey, while journeying through a dark 3 years of infertility. In fact, Hawa was given a 1% chance of ever overcoming her barrenness. BUT GOD!!! The transparent space, unending support, unwavering faith, and mountain moving intercession of her husband and a tribe of women produced her one and only birth miracle, her daughter Gia, which means “God is gracious”.
Living Empowered was ‘birthed” out of this miraculous place. Hawa’s journey through her own barrenness has given her such a heart’s sensitivity to women, singles, couples, and future couples suffering from the inability to produce in ANY area of their lives. She is a vivid creative, who is passionate about teaching, developing, igniting, and activating God’s full potential in others. With her creative passion for teaching, developing, interceding, and igniting, Hawa has taught at various worship arts conferences, women’s workshops and gatherings, professional career development tracks, and creative writing sessions, effectively identifying, empowering, equipping, and activating others with tools needed to LIVE EMPOWERED.
Hawa is also passionate about creative writing and has developed her personal journaling into the thought-provoking blog: (www.livingempoweredblog.wordpress.com). Through her personal reflections and transparent thoughts, Hawa uses this blog to inspire, impact, and activate others to transition past their natural and spiritual limitations, to unleash their full potential in God. She is passionate about using her creativity to inspire and activate others and has also authored her first booklet of empowering devotionals, “Living Empowered Daily”, and has recently launched Living Empowered Daily on-line store, which is an apparel movement for women and young girls, designed to inspire, impact, encourage, bless, speak LIFE, ignite and boldly express your faith in God.
